Tom’s trainings and programs can help you to permanently free your mind of negative thoughts and replace them with positive beliefs that can quickly propel you toward your life’s purpose and ambitions.
After spending more than 25 years in training and management for the automotive sector, Tom was ready to retire. He had saved up a nice nest egg and was imagining a new lifestyle for himself including expansive free time and LOTS of golf. Shortly after he retired, Tom was informed that his entire retirement savings had been invested in what turned out to be a ponzi scheme; every last penny had disappeared overnight with no chance of getting it back. He and many others who’d lost their investment were left with no alternative but to reinvent himself and get back to work to provide the means for his future.
At the same time Tom’s future was jeopardized, he’d been studying Neuro Linguistic Programming. He began to take the skills he had learned and offer his services to others as a personal change consultant and trainer. He decided to take his earnings to straighten out his financial predicament as well as invest in additional training to further his expertise in additional areas of accelerated learning. This training gave Tom the skills and credibility to build a new career and income for himself.
The Action Steps
Tom’s next career was unique but a natural next step for him based on his military experience dealing with those who’ve suffered through life-changing trauma. He offers us some simple action steps for coping with loss and negativity thought processes:
- Identify What Needs Changing: For those dealing with PTSD, there may not be a clear understanding of what the specific nature of the problem is… only that there IS a problem. You may want to ask those around you what they perceive about you and the difficulties that adversely impact your well-being.
- Seek a Qualified Professional: Getting free from whatever holds you back is a process that will be facilitated with the guidance of someone trained in overcoming PTSD or other life challenges. A professional is instrumental to accurately identifying the type of support you need as well as supporting you in doing the change work itself.
- Engage in Daily Practice: No matter what approach you take, any self-improvement process will be most effective with time dedicated to daily progress. Be sure to give yourself time and adopt a marathon mindset rather than a sprint to the finish line.
